project. In the end, Turnstone wound up be-
ing the only company tofollow through with

"Basically, the town had discovered that their
entire roof structure was deficient," Stacy ex-
plained. "The interesting thing about it is it's
a brick building with a timber frame roof
structure.It required a lot of detail and a lot
of time, both on the engineering side and on
the construction side, to keep it as close to
historical as possible. We even had to pur-
chase some unique hand chisels to do the
timber work by hand, so not a lot of power
tools were used. It was quite technical.There
was a lot of great work done there."
The Great Bay Community College proj-
ect, on the other hand, presented a differ-
ent set of challenges for the company. They
were awarded the project after achieving 97
out of 100 in the evaluation process, which
required architectural, electrical and me-
chanical designsas well as pricing, with only
a hand-drawn layout of the 17,000 square
foot facility to reference. To complicate mat-
