A YEAR OF TRANSITION
Stacy anticipates that 2015 will be a "good
growth year" for the company. They arein
the process of looking for an estimator with
project management experience, as well as a
superintendent and additional laborers and
carpenters to facilitate this expansion. They
also have plans to expand their work radius
beyond NewHampshire to nearby Vermont,
Massachusetts and Maine,as long as it's"the
right project for the right client."
In the meantime, Turnstone is finishing up
yet another design/build project for Great
Bay Community College − a 10,000 square
foot expansion this time − as well as "last
minute" emergency repairs at Milford High
School. They are also preparing to com-
mence a $1.8 million heating, ventilation
and air conditioning (HVAC) repair job at
the Littleton Post Office.
"There are other projects that we haven't
been officially contracted for yet, but we're
definitely looking to exceed the gross rev-
enues that we've seen over the last two or
three years," Stacy revealed.
Beyond that, Stacy indicates that her fu-
ture goals for Turnstone include working
with private owners− particularly private
schools, colleges and hospitals − who "re-
ally understand that quality and service in
construction help their business in the long-
term."Additionally, she would like to see the
company doing more construction man-
agement work and less bid work within the
coming years.
"Although we love the bid work, it seems
that owners and buyers are really wanting to
do construction management versus bid, so
we really want to reach that market a little
bit more," she concluded."We'd also like to
grow to about $15 to $20 million a year in
the next five years, that would be a very com-
fortable spot to be in."
