Jacksonville Suns are a minor league baseball powerhouse. A family-owned mi-
nor league baseball franchise for over 30 years, the team has endured struggle
and sacrifice on their way to success.
For more than 50 years, the Jacksonville Suns
have been a mainstay in southern Florida’s
First Coast sports scene. A major league af-
filiate to many teams since their inception
in 1962 - from the Cleveland Indians and
Montreal Expos to the Los Angeles Dodgers
and now the Miami Marlins - the team has
a history of notable former players, includ-
ing: Nolan Ryan, Randy Johnson, Clayton
Kershaw and current Marlins star Giancarlo
Stanton.
Purchased by Peter Bragan Sr. in 1984, the
