The electrical portion of the Frederiksen
Court Expansion project had a 12 month
construction schedule but was finished two
months early. The project was also built to
LEED Gold Standards.
According to Jerry, Chris and Matt, the big-
gest challenge on that project was the time-
table. The project had to be completed in the
fall, in time for the new semester. The Uni-
versity was in the midst of a student hous-
ing shortage, so it was very important all six
buildings were ready on time.
“It was an extremely aggressive schedule,”
Chris said. “It took a lot of coordination and
teamwork between us, all the other trades,
and the University to deliver the project on
time. And not only did we deliver it on time,
we delivered it early.”
“We take pride in our quality, and we take
pride in being good partners on projects,” he
added. “If you’re a good partner on a project,
they ask you back. That’s our goal – to have
