Over the years, GDC has developed a long
history of successful projects. Bedi credits
that ongoing success to the company’s strong
relationships with their partners. He said
they aim to foster repeat and longstanding
relationships with skilled and reliable con-
tractors such as Omicron, who they can trust
to deliver the quality that GDC has become
known for.
GDC itself is also a very nimble organiza-
tion, Bedi said. They do not have a head of-
fice in Toronto or Ottawa that they have to
get approvals from. They can make decisions
quickly in-house, which means fast turn-
around times and smoother relationships
with partners.
“I think that helps a lot,” Bedi said.
Bedi also credited GDC’s successful track
record to the company’s in-house expertise.
Both he and Vice-President Fred Clemens
come from long careers in the industry, and
they have become adept at locational analy-
sis – which is important, because the com-
pany’s successbegins with choosing the right
locations for their commercial spaces. When
