of their many corporate solutions is assisting
with the development of a drug-free work-
place policy. “When franchise owners finish
our advanced training, they are prepared to
write a policy for their customer,” Loeb says.
“Proper training ensures that a customer’s
drug-free workplace policy is legally compli-
ant should it ever be challenged in a court of
law.”
Another factor that sets them apart is
a lack of head-to-head competition. “AR-
Cpoint Labs is one of the only third-party
franchised collection facilities in the U.S.,
providing a full complement of testing and
service options, including testing for pre-
scription drugs,” Loeb says. “Next to mari-
juana, prescription opiates are the next most
abused drug in the United States. There are a
limited number of testing facilities across the
country that test for alcohol, illegal drugs,
designer stimulants and prescription drugs,
but we’re one of them.”
Statistically, a company that has never
previously conducted drug testing can an-
ticipate about 25 per cent of the workforce
having some form of substance abuse prob-
lem – alcohol, illegal drug, prescription drug
