Classroom training is held in Green-
ville, SC for five full days. During that week,
the franchisees are trained in drug testing
protocols, operational management, cus-
tomized software, sales, and marketing. They
also gain hands-on experience in the local
Greenville ARCpoint Labs facility. Two to
four weeks later, owners are prepared to open
their facility. AnARCpoint operational staff
member is also sent out to their location to
ensure the franchise is fully-functional and
has everything needed for day-to day opera-
tions. Soon after opening, additional sales
training is provided on-site as well. “With
this type of comprehensive training, our goal
is to give the franchisee a good jumpstart and
help them develop the skills they need to
operate independently once we leave,” Loeb
says.
Six to 12 months after opening, fran-
chise owners receive advanced training that
prepares them to expand their business by
targeting clients that are under federal man-
date to adhere to certain regulations regard-
ing drug testing programs. “Training is an
ongoing process,” Loeb says. “Owner’s build
their skill sets on an ongoing basis, which
opens the door for them for additional profit
