helping people build better, and in a more
sensible way. I'd like the company to contin-
ue be a place with a social conscience, a place
where employees can know they're doing the
right thing just by showing up to work.”
At Contrarian, they believe that it's their
duty to do the right thing, it's a culture
which permeates the workplace, creating an
environment where the work is truly valued
and making a difference.
“We don't tend to have people wanting to
leave,” explains Halliday. “They love working
here because, I'd like to think we're a good
management team for which to work on one
hand, but the overall thing is that they feel
good about working here because we're do-
ing good for the world. That's very gratify-
ing, and I'd like to see us continue to be that
company even if we grow substantially, I'd
like us to keep a grip on that.”
