Place Hotels of America has been working diligently
to provide America with a new and affordable lodging
option.
My Place co-Founder, Chairman and CEO Ron
Rivett earned his experience as a co-founder of Super
8 Motels in Aberdeen, South Dakota in 1974. Nearly
twenty years later, after the motel system grew to over
1,000 properties, Ron sold the Franchise system in
1993. Rivett remained active in business for the years
leading up to My Place. The Rivett Group, the par-
ent company, oversees a multitude of legal entities.
