Place Hotels of America. This time around,
Ron Rivett co-founded his new dream with
his grandson, Ryan Rivett, President and
COO for My Place Hotels of America. The
headquarters for My Place Hotels of Ameri-
ca is located in Aberdeen, South Dakota.
IDEAS TO ACTIONS
In 2011 the brand began construction on
the very first My Place Hotel in Dickinson,
North Dakota. In February 2012 the first
My Place hotel opened for business, and be-
gan what was a two-year proof-of-concept
period, wherein the founders of My Place
Hotels would develop, build, supply, open
and operate five My Place Hotels. Locations
included the energy-development markets
of North Dakota, the transit-centric area
of Cheyenne, WY, and the diverse vacation
