Combining innovation and sustainability with style, Aquafil USA’s custom-
er-first approach and commitment to providing eco-friendly premium carpet
fibers and synthetic polymers is deeply rooted in Italian heritage and family
history.
In a small resort town in the Italian Alps, the Aquafil Group, a family
owned company had a global dream to expand to America and turn their
unique carpet fiber artistry into a product that serves residential, commer-
cial and automotive sectors. In 1999, that dream became a reality. 16 years
on, and Aquafil USA’s rags to riches story continues to further grow its
international presence while protecting the environment.
“Aquafil USA started from a very small operation.” Said Aquafil USA pres-
identFranco Rossi, from the Aquafil USA headquarters in Cartersville,
Georgia. “Our mother company is in Italy and they wanted to establish
a local footprint in the United States. We started from the ground, there
was nothing here - it was myself and two other employees and in 15 years
of activity we have grown to almost 400 employees and $130 million in
annual sales. So it has been a long way, but a successful one.”
