on heavy equipment.” Rose said. “We use
a lot of excavating equipment, and while
there is always an access point provided by
the manufacturer to allow for safe mounting
and dismounting, our mechanics often find
themselves on a piece of equipment that’s 6
to 8 feet off the ground and there’s never re-
ally been a thought as to what protects them
from falling while they’re working.”
By listening to the workers on the front lines,
Schultz Construction proactively set out to
find a solution to the issue they were facing.
