The small property size of the Royal Palms
offers a cozy and quaint accommodation.
For General Manager Theresa Harney-Zuill,
it's about providing the amenities which of-
fer the best of Bermudian hospitality.
“As a small property we obviously can’t com-
pete with the larger resorts with the tennis
courts and spas,” said Harney-Zuill. “We do
have a small pool and two great restaurants,
which are renowned throughout the island.
For a fine dining experience, we have Ascots
Restaurant, which is one of the top fine-
dining restaurants in Bermuda. They work
as a separate entity, but are built within our
property. Our more casual dining option,
Just 24, is situated on the outside enclosed
patio with beautiful garden views that makes
for a lovely spot.”
PERSONAL AND
PASSIONATE
Providing personalized customer care, the
Royal Palms’ small and agile staff of 14 em-
ployees plays a huge role in the hotel’s daily
operations.
“Service is the key and that’s what makes us
successful and keeps the guests coming back,”
said Harney-Zuill. “Getting into the indus-
try it has to really be a passion. Something
