Myles Noel shares an observation once
made by one of his mentors by affirming,
“A patient can die in an operating room,
but people may overlook that because
they know the hospital was trying to do
the best that it could. On the other hand,
people will more harshly judge the hospi-
tal in terms of three things: the food, the
housekeeping and the laundry. If any one
of these isn’t in shape, it will shut a hospi-
tal down faster than anything. Regardless
of the fact that it shouldn’t prompt the
most concern, the quality of the laundry
represents a key area of concern.”
