prompted his cooking with grape-seed oil
or coconut oil. He also occasionally chas-
tised his younger brothers about the preser-
vatives and additives contained in some of
the food they indulged (pizza, bagels, etc).
“DJ would look at us and say, ‘Do you have
any idea what that is doing to your body?’”
recalls Danny. So, as they gradually became
more health conscious, they stumbled upon
a statistic that indicated as much as 60% of
whatever comes in contact with your skin is
ultimately absorbed into your body. They be-
gan to consider some of the lotions and oint-
ments on the market, chock full of toxins
and harsh chemicals, and an idea was born
