“We really integrated the design with
construction,”Matt says simply. “We were re-
ally telling them what time we needed what
information, right down to the last minute.
And the entire time, we were providing cost
feedback. Cecause at the end of the day, those
are the two things every client is after – they
want their building on time, and on budget.”
Throughout the building process, Lend
Lease also enjoyed extremely positive re-
lationships with the subcontractors and
trades – the majority of whom Lend Lease
has worked with before, or will happily work
with again.
“This industry is all about repeat business
and relationships,” Matt says. “And we take
great pride in our relationship with subcon-
tractors. Because at the end of the day, with-
out their support, we’d be nothing.”
