our executive secretary, Diane Smid, and
she is part-time and then we have another
whose name is Katie and is basically in the
office and handles all of the inquiries and
the phone calls and the orders for things and
so on. And, then we draw upon some of the
staff in the firm here when we have our annu-
al conference, because it takes a lot of hands
to put together packages and programs and
badges and all that sort of thing that you
have. It’s really, I guess if you want to call it,
two people that are dedicated to the coun-
cil and then a couple of others that we draw
upon when need them.
BW: If we were to revisit this conversation
in a couple of years, what are the things in
your domain that will be changing, what are
the things you’re paying the most attention
to going forward?
PEZOLD: Well, one of the things that’s
evolved over the years is the growth of inter-
national trade and we import a large amount
of stuff in the United States and we export
things and that is a particularly complicated
area because of the number of modes that
are involved. You’ve got truck and then rail,
and ocean, and air, and then truck again on
