100 employees. And then we have service
providers, like people that are in the insur-
ance business, and attorneys, people that do
freight bill auditing, people that handle car-
go claims, they have services that do that type
of thing. So it really is quite a range of com-
panies that are involved and quite a range of
levels and skills. We have some people that
are very much involved in the international
trades and get involved in negotiating con-
tracts with the ocean carriers and things like
that for the imports. We have people that
have literally hundreds of motor carriers that
they have contracts with, because they’re
large shippers and receivers. It’s a broad base
really.
BW: Many associations label themselves by
the fundamental thing that they do very
well – the value proposition that they give to
their members. Do you have one particular
flag that you feel like you wave or service that
you provide?
PEZOLD: The way I foresee it, I think our
motto, and it’s the title of our conference, is:
Education for Transportation Officials. And
that’s what we call our annual conference
