subject. Motor carriers and their lawyers at
the time were much more familiar with the
law and were winning the lion’s share of the
cases. The shippers’ side was disorganized
and Augello felt that shippers should have a
forum so they could get educated and learn.
Pezold took over leadership when Aug-
ello died in 2006
