cept," explains Sparkman. "People are hearing
from each other and sharing ideas in a studio
environment."
The openness of the studio environment also
reflects the way in which Sweet Sparkman
handle their staff, allowing their architects
to spread their wings and explore fresh ideas,
encouraging them to strive for more.
"We have managed to hire very talented
people," says Sparkman. "And we realize the
more freedom we give them, the more re-
sponsibility that they take on and the more
they enjoy, and do, their jobs. The more we
allow them to explore design ideas as profes-
sionals, the more they work to excel."
EXCELLENCE IN DESIGN
In 2014, Sweet Sparkman Architects won
the International Property Award for Best
Architecture Single Residence Florida for
their work on the Casey Key Residence. The
project is comprised of three structures; The
Main House, the Bay House, and the Beach
