“In 2014, Atlanta welcomed three world
class developments,” says Bastian. “The most
anticipated being the Center for Civil and
Human Rights; a memorial to honor the leg-
acy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. It houses a
wealth of history and interactive experienc-
es centered around the Civil Rights Move-
ment; in addition to some of Dr. King’s own
writings, speeches and personal effects. The
exhibit draws thousands of visitors to the
city each month.”
“Just a short walk away through Centennial
Olympic Park, the College Football Hall of
Fame also anchors the downtown business
and entertainment district. I think the sig-
nificance of those two destinations choosing
to locate here, shows that institutions both
small and large have recognized Atlanta for
its ability to draw a diverse demographic,
accommodating them well, and offering an
array of options for patrons to experience.
In addition to its newest cultural attractions,
Atlanta remains the dominant economy in
