talent and skill that when you pay attention
and listen to them, they have some awesome
ideas that have really taken us far in terms of
technology and engineering," she says.
Concepts in Millwork Inc is committed to
always improving the business, and they're
looking at new systems and equipment to
bolster their panel processing, material han-
dling and inventory control in the near fu-
ture. Scott says, "There have been a lot of
innovations in regards to material handling
and things like that we're looking to invest
in. It'll really change the way we do business."

THE FUTURE
At Concepts in Millwork caution is key in
deciding which jobs to undertake and when.
The quality over quantity approach means
the firm can focus their attention on the cli-
ent's needs, ensuring that they deliver the
premiummillwork for which they're known.
This strategy has led to a steady and con-
trolled growth of the company. Since 2009,
they have nearly doubled their sales from
$5M , to just under $10.5M in 2014.
"We're fairly conservative in selecting proj-
ects to pursue and which ones we can han-
dle," says Sherri, "so that when we take them
on, we can perform and meet their expecta-
tions, instead of taking on too much work."
