sophisticated machinery and attention to
professional standards, Hernandez says

230 people who commit heart and soul, not
to mention man-hours, in fulfilling their du-
ties with the full intensity of their capability.
Hernandez says personnel take great pride
in their support role to healthcare provid-
ers, but for that matter, part of their perfor-
mance may result from the pride NTHCL
administration has for its workers. Hernan-
dez says NTHCL has created a culture that
thrives on respect for all, recognition of ser-
vices performed and expressing appreciation
in measure which would be meaningful in
any business. Hernandez says taking the time
to handwrite a simple thank you letter to
staff, or treating all to lunch, or taking a few
minutes to circulate cool pitchers of water
to those working on the floor; such gestures
help reinforce the message that workers are
respected and appreciated. When asked how
