ENVIRONMENTAL
EXCELLENCE
Bartsch says respect and appreciation of the
environment was not only a family value,
but something fostered by many families
in the Pacific Northwest, especially Seattle
and Vancouver, where the population has
been more historically proactive in adopt-
ing eco-sensitive programs as compared with
communities elsewhere. Ecotex has been
especially proactive in advancing programs
that reduce energy consumption, aid in wa-
ter conversation, and eliminate hazardous
chemicals from its discharge of wastewater.
