“There are a lot of similarities to our proj-
ects,” he said. “But at the same time they’re
all very different and that’s the client com-
ing through. We take what they want and we
push it as far as we can, we’re basically facili-
tating people’s desires for contemporary liv-
ing, and we’re quite good at it because we’ve
been doing it for a long time.”

In the early days of the firm, architectural
