together,” Smith explained. “For our co-op
terms, we started going out and picking up
clients for very basic residential projects like
kitchen renovations, baths, decks and back-
yards.”
“As we progressed, our little company start-
ed getting bigger,” Smith continued. “At one
point, we had seven or eight co-op students
working together and taking on larger resi-
dential additions. By the time we graduated
in 1997, we had a good company going and
never looked back. We’ve stayed in the resi-
dential market and we’ve stayed very hands-
on. “
