The overall company’s gross sales for the
first quarter of fiscal year 2014 put it onpace
to surpass $100 million for 12 months, a
significant jump from$80million in2013–
and an even bigger spike from the $57
millionnumber posted in the year that Roth
tookover.
“What Rick has instilled in all of us is to
make sure that we service the customer,” she
said. “So a lot of these new ventures that
we’ve taken have come from simply that –
just listening to what our customer needs
are and trying to come up with a business
execution thatwould fulfill those needs.”
Roth said the energy division is expanding
at a rate of $30 million to $40 million
annually.
“For a startup, that’s not bad. It’s something
that’s been pretty big for us,” she said.
“We’re hoping to expand into othermarkets
with that and provide good transportation.
