It’s a mindset that Amanda Roth, the
organization’s second-generation owner
and CEO, inherited from her parents, Rick
and Donna Jones, who founded the
company back in June 1983. Her father
became visionary director when Roth
purchasedMeadow Lark in 2011, while her
mother retired.
“It’s in our name. It says delivery and
transportationwith integrity,”Roth said.
“It’s what Rick founded the business on.
You get a small-town feel, but big corporate
presence. You get somebody that really cares
about the business and the solutions we can
provide, and when we say we’re going to do
something, we do it. A lot of people are
looking for that.”
Roth has stretched the people-centric
approa ch in mu l t i p l e d i r e c t i ons ,
particularly by creating Meadow Lark
Energy, a logistics company that specializes
in the move and set-up of oil rigs from one
