“We believe that we truly offer a Jamaican
experience,” she says. “What we portray is Ja-
maica.” The Couples organization operates
four resorts on the island, including the 226-
room Tower Isle in Ocho Rios, which was
the first of the four to be built. Swept Away
became part of the Couples organization in
1998, shortly before the construction and
opening of the 234-room Couples Negril.
