And when it comes to where Karen
Lanigan heads to work each day, there’s no
other way.
The native Jamaican is the general manag-
er of the Couples Swept Away resort in Ne-
gril – a 312-room slice of vacation tranquil-
ity that was built in the early 1990s and has
billed itself since later in that decade as the
ideal all-inclusive destination for romantic
pairs to “reconnect with their other half.”
