ing for knowledge can get it,” Bragan Jr. said.
“We got hundreds of people that come to 50
to 70 games, but what really makes the thing
work is the guy who comes from the suburbs
three to six times a year, I think that’s the big
thing about social media, it’s like a free TV
commercial or newspaper advertisement.”
BITTER SWEET FUTURE
A family legacy built over 31 years that has
transcended good times, bad times, ups and
downs will be coming to an end in Septem-
ber, as Bragan Jr. announced that he will be
selling the team.
“I don’t have a son or daughter so I don’t have
anyone to take over for me, my dad had to die
as the owner Jacksonville Suns, but I don’t,”
Bragan Jr. said. “Mr. Babby will be great for
the city – he’s got that youth and enthusiasm
and the wherewithal to carry this franchise
forward and to new heights, I really believe
he’ll be great for the city.”

Peter Jr. would say. As the sun sets on the
Bragan family reign in Jacksonville, the boys
of summer will always be close to his heart.
