is due to the fact that they have never “sub-
scribed to the theory” that a construction
environment is hazardous by nature, and ac-
cidents are bound to happen. Instead, they
have designed and implemented highly-ac-
claimed safety programs wherein employees
receive an extensive safety orientation before
starting work, and another safety orientation
at the jobsite on hazards that are unique to
the project. Helix Electric employees also
receive safety training twice a week, and are
subjected to unannounced safety inspec-
tions designed to eliminate unsafe condi-
tions normally found on a jobsite. When a
rare incident does happen, it is thoroughly
investigated and policies are implemented to
ensure it doesn’t happen again. Furthermore,
Helix Electric supervisors receive extensive
safety training every month.
Moving forward, Helix Electric intends to
continue delivering their impressive work
for a vast array of clients, and remain focused
on the safety of their employees on each and
every project.
