Founded in 2002, Performance Peterbilt of Bristol,
LLC, provides service to the Tri-City area encom-
passing our home-base in Virginia. We believe
achieving customer satisfaction is critical in all we
do. We accomplish that by engaging highly trained,
best-in-class Parts specialists, Service Technicians
and Trained truck salesmen.
In 2011, a tornado twisted tragically through our
community devastating our dealership in the pro-
cess. Without the generous support of the manu-
facturer and loyal Peterbilt customers such as TCW,
we simply could not have survived in the area.
Thanks to their support, our operations are comple-
mented today by a 28,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art fa
cility.
Nathan Ried purchased the dealership in July of
2012 during the final phases of construction.
Nathan, who started his career as a Service Techni-
cian, knows the importance of quality service.
During his career he has fulfilled every position
from entry level to owner.
Today Performance’s name speaks for itself; with
our partnership with Peterbilt and the new Model
579, we feel Peterbilt has hit a home run. We offer
Sales, Parts, Service, contract maintenance, and
with our onsite mobile trucks we can deliver the
services of our shop directly to you – all of this fur-
thers our ability to live up to our name and satisfy
customer expectations by providing – Perfor-
mance.
TCW has additionally invested in the
most sophisticated, state-of-the art techno-
logical systems which give them uncanny
ability to rapidly communicate with drivers,
access all manner of detail about cargo con-
dition, location and arrival time, and what’s
more, the ability to assess every operational
nuance of the transport process. That tech-
nology actually analyzes driver performance,
noting speed, turns, lane shifting, time spent
driving, and when all data is gathered and
assimilated, TCW administration studies
results to determine areas where drivers may
need additional training, or encouragement
