Small businesses are prime targets for
cybercrime and the fallout from a hack
attack can be particularly significant dur-
ing the holiday season. Hacked websites’
traffic slows to a crawl, especially if quar-
antined (“blacklisted”) by Google. It can
equate to thousands of dollars in lost rev-
enue as well as lost credibility with cus-
tomers. While IT professionals would
be the first to note that no website is 100
percent secure, that fact does not insulate
