idea for FirstLight came from a combina-
tion of CEO Jeff Bevis’ personal experience
caring for aging parents, grandparents and
in-laws within his own family, and the com-
pany’s collective experience of those, “who
have all been or are still caregivers for aging
parents,” he says. “We just really see the need
for our type of service – the non-medical in-
home care and the ability to be able to help
people.”
In addition to seniors, the company’s
services – including meal preparation, light
housekeeping and eating assistance – can
benefit mothers returning home from the
hospital, people recovering from surgery
and clients in need of companionship.
