by factorized machinery. Much of the pro-
cess is still done by hand, including applica-
tion of labels on jars, something Danny says
will likely cause him arthritis one day. Their
approach is tomaintain the feel of exclusivity
and certain “homemade” touch. “We’re not
trying to be everywhere… but we want every-
one to know that we’re providing a healthy
alternative, a healthy choice for skin care.”
Nardo’s Natural can be found among a
variety of spas throughout the country now,
including one in St. Pete owned and operat-
ed by the Mastronardo brothers themselves.
The company has also employed more than a
dozen field reps to help with orders and dis-
tribution in America, and through the aus-
pices of their website “
.
com” orders are being directed throughout
the world. They hope to increase consumer
catches from consumers with the help of a
professional pitchman, in this case, three-
time American League All Star and Cy
Young Award Winning Pitcher David Price,
who endorses Nardo’s Natural Muscle Rub.
While their products are becoming
increasingly popular with consumers, the
brothers are enjoying popularity too thanks
to the television show and attention from
national media.
“We never expected, never imagined
we would have fame… it is an odd feeling
signing an autograph, that really threw my
brothers and I for a loop… because you wake
up in the morning feeling like the same per-
son you were yesterday,” says Danny. “We
look at it and hope it inspires young entre-
preneurs or other people in small business.
We want them to know that something that
starts off in your home kitchen can be suc-
cessful, but it takes a lot of work to get there.”
