approved byMorinville's council last winter
after the town learned the existing facility
would need roughly $4.15 million in
repairs to last beyond2015.
A feasibility study was commissioned in
November to determine the types of
amenities to be included in a newmulti-use
recreation complex, the criteria for
identifying a suitable location and to
calculate various operating and capital

update on the project and forecast a
complex housing a 1.200-seat ice arena, as
well as a four-sheet curling rink, a
community pool, a fitness center, a jogging
track, an indoor soccer gymnasium and
adjacent retail space.
