Though the month may derive its name from a ruler who saw fit to extend its length by an additional two days, August is also
synonymous with a Latin expression that translates to “great” or “magnificent.” With such as the case, we are greatly pleased to
present our August issue. We consider it as one of our most magnificent to date, not only due to the range of industries, executives
and community initiatives comprising this month’s coverage, but also because of the magnificent encouragement we’ve received
by advertisers supporting our mission to share insight on enterprises and business information which often gets missed by con-
ventional media. This support has not only enabled us to become a trusted resource in the dissemination of content across the
variety of technological platforms people now use to acquire information, but has also accommodated the hiring of new staff here
in the North American offices of Business World Magazine, as well as the affiliated offices of the company’s publishing opera-
tions involving Canada, Australia and Dubai. We’re very excited about the future and opportunities that will help empower
the expansion of our international presence. We are growing, and while formal announcements of that growth will occur in the
“coming-soon,” reflecting on growth prompts recognition of words once spoken by Ronald Reagan. He said, “There are no great
limits to growth because there are no limits of human intelligence, imagination, and wonder.”
Growth is a reoccurring theme in most of the stories featured this month. Yet for every company experiencing growth, either
in increases in their customer base or service expansion or operational positioning, that growth has been a byproduct of intel-
ligence and imagination in imparting solutions... solutions born from the respective wondering as to ... how to be better... how
to overcome challenges... how to make a beneficial difference in the lives of others. This month, you’ll read how devising answers
to such questions has contributed to the growth of companies that include: Vnomics, a provider of revolutionary products trans-
forming the transportation industry; About Sales, an Atlanta firm which is more – about services – greatly benefitting home
builders; Five Star Food Services, an enterprise helping employees find greater happiness and health in their workspace; and
West Michigan Shared Hospital Laundry whose services benefit hospitals as well as the patients for which they provide care.
Such intelligence and imagination has similarly resulted in life saving services from companies such as Airlift Northwest, or one
of the tastiest franchising models in Wing Zone, and is among the flavoring of the finest beers to be found in America, or most
anywhere else, from Matt Brewing Company. These same virtues have led to new business opportunities and a greater quality
of life in areas such as Missoula in Montana, Fairbanks in Alaska and communities throughout Canada – all is covered in this
month’s issue.
In each case, these stories reaffirm the message that there are no great limits to growth where there are no limits to human intel-
ligence and imagination, nor the resolve to do things better. We hope you enjoy reading these accounts as much we enjoy making
them available, and look forward to growing upon this body of coverage when we return with the next edition dedicated to the
best people and best practices to be found in business.
