ing. They have completely revamped and
improved their training program that lasts
six weeks and covers important aspects in-
cluding safety, customer service interaction,
effective equipment and chemical usage to
reduce labour time – “We really understand
the importance of disinfecting thoroughly,”
Thompson explains.
Thompson says the creation of a four-co-
lour coded micro-fibre system also differen-
tiates the company because they use specific
types of cloths for specific areas of a cleaning
site. For example, they only use red cloths for
cleaning restrooms, unlike their competitors.
“
We don’t use it outside of the washrooms
because it could cross-contaminate other ar-
eas of the building that need cleaning.”
They also use micro-fibre flat mops,
which has dramatically improved their ef-
ficiency level. “We’re making it much safer
for our technicians to clean. We’ve virtually
eliminated the mop bucket ringer and we’re
making it a healthier and safer environment.”
In addition, they recently launched a
new program called Jan-Pro MedMetrix,
the company’s first branded medical clean-
ing program offering compliance with fed-
