t seems a practical impossibility, but
the Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa
has managed to combine two distinct
worlds within a 250-room resort on an 85-
acre slice of Saint Lucia’s southern coast.
General Manager Mark Hawken and a
staff of 400 employees are able to do so in
an all-inclusive facility that caters to both the
adults-only and family crowds, by splitting
the grounds into two distinct sides tethered
only by a middle section that houses com-
mon lobby and restaurant operations along
with entertainment and other amenities.
