It was less than a decade ago when a mobile
phone was simply used to send or receive a
voice call. Today, consumers are relying on
their devices to watch videos, play games, lis-
ten to music, find directions to desired des-
tinations, and innumerable ”there’s an app
for that” activities which have nothing to do
with making a phone call. Though consum-
ers so often credit the national carriers or
