Company, Bonnell applied his metallurgical
mastery by incorporating decorative met-
al trims to finished projects. He later went
on to design and market a pre-formed sink
frame which ultimately contributed to the
development of materials essential to the
construction of countertops. In fact, Bon-
nell was the originator of more than 500
shapes which are still in use today. In 1939,
upon acquiring an extrusion press, Bonnell’s
firmwas the first in the industry to have their
own in-house extrusion capability. Bonnell’s
