(ECC) license, which in addition to a regu-
lar license, allows the facility to provide ad-

living environment. Unlike many other as-
sisted living facilities, Bon Secours Place is
staffed by nurses on-site around-the-clock.

our residents to age in place, meaning they

if they need a little more help... It also en-
ables us to keep our residents here for longer
periods of time and give them care for the
rest of their lives, should they wish to stay
here.”
In addition, Bon Secours Place offers
a wide-range of concepts and amenities,
which, according to Szumski, many assisted
living or independent living facilities lack.
Such examples include regular communion,
Sunday Mass and inter-faith services, indi-
vidual meal plans, social outings and events,
and access to beauty and barber services.
