Five Star Painting’s objective over the next
year is to add franchises in the top 100 major
U.S. markets, while adding franchises in the
other three countries they operate in.
They expect to bring in more new peo-
ple to their business because of their surge in
growth, Abbott explains. “Our business is
consistently moving up in terms of revenue,”
he says. “Right now, we’re up 60 per cent over
last year’s sales already.” In addition, Five
Star is always on the lookout to acquire ad-
ditional service brands that align with their
values and interests.
Longer term, Five Star will operate as
a multi-national business, expanding their
markets to more than five countries. One
of their major goals is to add another coun-
try to their international portfolio in 2012.
They also want to see more than 400 franchi-
sees operating – making it a national brand
everyone will recognize, Abbott says. “If you
want to get your house painted, Five Star is
the place to go no matter where you live in
the United States,” he says. “I anticipate us
achieving that in the next four or five years.”
